EMDR Intensive Program

Heal Deeper. Heal Faster.

Trauma doesn’t have to take years to work through. Our EMDR Intensive Programs condense months of traditional therapy into just a few focused days—helping you process, reframe, and release the weight of the past so you can start feeling lighter, calmer, and more in control.

What Are EMDR Intensives?

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is one of the most effective trauma therapies available. But instead of the standard weekly model, EMDR Intensives take the work deeper, faster.

By immersing in concentrated sessions over a shorter timeframe, we create the space to reprocess traumatic memories more effectively—reducing their emotional charge and helping your nervous system finally settle.

Over the course of the program, we’ll focus intensively on processing one or two key issues.

Clients often notice relief from:

  • Nightmares and flashbacks

  • Intrusive thoughts and hypervigilance

  • Anxiety, panic, and overwhelm

  • Guilt, shame, or emotional numbness

  • Trauma-related physical symptoms like migraines or gut issues

For many, symptoms ease dramatically. For some, they resolve altogether.

EMDR Intensive vs. Traditional EMDR

Traditional EMDR

  • Weekly or fortnightly sessions

  • Helpful for ongoing support

  • Progress can feel slow or stop-start

EMDR Intensives

  • Multiple sessions packed into a few days or weeks

  • Keeps momentum through all 8 phases of EMDR

  • Less “catching up,” more focused reprocessing

  • Faster relief from trauma-related symptoms

If weekly therapy feels too drawn out—or doesn’t fit your lifestyle—an intensive may be the better path.

Why Choose an EMDR Intensive?

Faster Results
Condensed sessions mean you may notice shifts in your mental and emotional health much sooner than with traditional therapy.

Deeper, Focused Work
Instead of dipping in and out week after week, intensives give you the space to really stay with your healing process.

Support for Neurodivergent Brains
Standard 50-minute sessions can feel restrictive. Intensives give you room to explore at your own pace without constantly being cut off by the clock.

Fits Into Busy Lives
Perfect if you juggle family, work, or travel—or simply want relief without months of waiting.

What to Expect?

Our EMDR Intensive Programs runs over 1–2 weeks and are designed to target one or two specific issues in a concentrated way. Our program includes:

  • 1 x 50-minute online assessment session before your intensive

  • The equivalent of 10 x 50-minute or 5 x 50 minute EMDR sessions condensed into 2 days or 1 day

  • 2 x 90-minute or 1 x 90 minute Breathwork Therapy sessions

  • 2 x 45-minute or 1x 45-minute Somatic Movement Therapy sessions

  • An intensive-specific workbook to guide you during and after the program

This unique blend of EMDR plus body-based therapies supports not just the processing of trauma, but also the integration, embodiment, and reflection needed for lasting change.

Intensives aren’t designed to “fix everything at once”—but they do create meaningful progress on targeted issues and lay a strong foundation for ongoing healing.

Is EMDR Just for PTSD?

No. While EMDR is best known for treating post-traumatic stress, it’s equally effective for:

  • Anxiety and panic

  • Phobias

  • Depression

  • Traumatic grief and loss

  • Addictions

  • Chronic pain

  • Emotional distress from childhood or adult experiences

If unprocessed memories are keeping you stuck, EMDR can help you move towards you desired life.

The Research

EMDR therapy is one of the most researched trauma treatments worldwide. And intensives aren’t just convenient—they’re effective.

A 2020 European study found that EMDR delivered in an intensive format reduced PTSD symptoms by up to 74%. More and more, this approach is becoming the gold standard in trauma recovery.

About Kasia (she/her)

I am a warm and compassionate Registered Psychologist, dedicated to providing holistic therapy grounded in nature-based, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches. I believe that personal healing is deeply connected to collective well-being, and that both are essential for moving toward social justice and meaningful change.

I have experience supporting adults, adolescents, and children experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, neurodivergence, and more. Throughout my practice, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from diverse backgrounds—across ages, genders, abilities, nationalities, cultural identities, and faith traditions, including those without religious affiliation.

I draw on evidence-based and trauma-informed therapies, including EMDR and Schema Therapy, while also respectfully integrating somatic and breathwork practices, indigenous wisdom, and nature-based approaches. I am committed to ongoing learning and growth, continually expanding my skills to help my clients process trauma, find release, and foster healing.

I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology in Poland, and my qualifications were recognised in Australia in 2020. As someone who has navigated the immigrant experience, culturally-informed practice and supporting individuals from all backgrounds on their healing journeys are particularly meaningful to me.

Outside of work, I love immersing myself in nature, exploring creativity through baking and pottery, and spending quality time with friends and family. Over time, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through a wide spectrum of life experiences, including the challenges that often inspire individuals to seek support.
