Kasia (she/her)

I am a warm and engaging Registered Psychologist, who believes in importance of delivering holistic therapy that is rooted in nature based, somatic and trauma-informed approaches.

I deeply believe that personal and collective healing is inseparable and necessary to move towards social justice and ‘well-being’- personal and collective.

I have experience in working with adults, adolescents and kids presenting with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, neurodivergence and more.

I am trained in and use evidence-based and trauma-informed therapies like EMDR and Schema Therapy. I have a keen interest in and respectfully draw inspiration from somatic and breathwork therapies, indigenous wisdom and practices, as well as nature based therapies.

I am continuously and eagerly learning and expanding my knowledge and skills to offer my community opportunities to release and process trauma and to heal.

I gained my master degree in Psychology in Poland, where I am originally from, and got my qualifications recognised in Australia in 2020. Being on an immigrant journey myself, culturally-informed practice and supporting people of all cultures on their healing journeys are close to my heart.

When I am not working, I love spending my time immersed in nature, exploring my creative self through baking and pottery and spending time with my friends and family.

Over time, I’ve walked alongside people through a broad spectrum of life experiences, including those challenges that most often inspire someone to reach out for support, such as:

  • Anger, Anxiety, Addiction and stress

  • Chronic health conditions,

  • Grief, Loss and endings

  • Family or relational issues

  • Gender identity

  • Hopelessness

  • Lack of direction

  • Loneliness

  • Low self-esteem

  • Shame, Social isolation and loneliness

  • Suicidal thoughts and Self Harm

I have particular interest and focus in areas like:

  • Anxiety

  • Complex and childhood trauma

  • Cultural difficulties

  • Depression and low mood

  • Difficult life transitions and adjustment difficulties

  • Neurodivergence

  • PTSD

  • Spirituality and personal understanding

I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients from many walks of life—across different ages, genders, abilities, nationalities, cultural identities, and faith traditions, as well as those with no religion.

I have graduated with a Masters Degree in a Psychology from the University of Warsaw in Poland.

I completed my internship in Australia as part of the process of having my degree recognised.
